Lucas has been training with Master Vladislav Koulikov the Head
instructor of Ultimate Sambo after his start in Judo in Brazil.
Instructor Lucas received his Judo black belt and Sambo instructor
credentials from Master Koulikov in 2008.
Lucas placed 2nd in the FILA Sambo U.S Nationals in 2006 making him
the U.S Team alternate to compete in the World Championships in
Antalya, Turkey. He is also a Florida Sambo State Champion, and the Florida
Sunshine State Games Sambo champion.

which is one of the most prestigious Sambo Schools in Russia, under
the instruction of S.V. Vorotyagin, USSR & World Champion. Instructor Koulikov,
was the 1989 Moscow Regional Sambo Champion and both a Gold and Silver Medalist
In USSR National Sambo Championships. He holds a Black Belt in
Judo & Ni hon Kenpo Karate and currently continues practice in JuJutsu.
